We were privileged to have Bruce and Denise Morcombe from the Daniel Morcombe Foundation visit our school on the 5th March. The Daniel Morcombe Foundation is committed to keeping students safe at school, safe at home, safe in the community and safe online.
The messages they shared with our students were a part of the new Daniel Morcombe Child Safety Curriculum which has been developed for Queensland students in Prep to Year 9.
Bruce and Denise taught our students to Recognise, React and Report unsafe situations. They also taught our students about five people they could report unsafe situations to.
It was a pleasure to have these inspirational people visit our school.
