Recently, our music students competed in the Gold Coast eisteddfod at the Gold Coast arts centre. Our bands, strings and choirs all competed in their respective sections and performed outstandingly.
Our senior band took out first place in their section and the junior band received second place. Congratulations to Mr Caulton for his excellent work with these ensembles.
Acacia strings, under the guidance of Mrs Ramsay, received fourth place and were very highly commended. Well done to our string ensembles and Mrs Ramsay.
Well done also to the senior choir who sang so well and really enjoyed their performance!
