Congratulations to Fox, Nic, Cale and Halima who competed in the state reader’s cup final on Tuesday night at the state library in Brisbane.
Our team of 4 with the support of Mrs Barratt have worked tirelessly since they won the Gold Coast division of the reading challenge in June. To compete at the state level against 15 other schools the students had to read 6 texts and then at the competition answer questions relating to each book.
Pacific Pines placed 7th overall, an amazing achievement - your commitment, enthusiasm and passion for reading is very inspiring to all of us – well done team!!
