Pacific Pines Primary School is moving to QParents for managing all
parent/carer consent for student participation in excursions/sporting
events/activities etc.
This will provide a more efficient and effective process for managing
parent/carer consent.
We require all families to sign up prior to Friday 28 February 2025 (Term 1,
Week 5).
What does this mean:
· Paper permission forms will no longer be issued to students.
· All permissions/consent will appear in QParents where you as parent/carer
will be able to give or not give consent for your student to participate in a
particular excursion/activity.
· To do this, a parent/carer will need to register an account with QParents.
Please note, if your student had an account in primary school, you will already
have an account.
· If you are worried you don’t have enough verification points, we can help you
in person at Administration Office. We will need to sight 100 points of
identity verification. For further details on required documents, download the
QParents verification documents here (PDF,303.88 KB).
Other benefits of QParents:
· View academic records
· Payment of invoices related to excursion/events
· Report student absences
· Update your contact details or students’ medical information
How to sign up to QParents:
Creating a QParents account involves a 4-step registration process. You will
need to have your child’s EQ ID (their Education Queensland identification
number) in order to complete your QParents registration.
You can find your student’s EQ ID on an invoice from Pacific Pines Primary
School or contact the Office staff who can provide this for you.
· Step 1 - receive an email from no.reply@qparents.qld.edu.au
with a unique invitation code and select the link to register
· Step 2 - verify your identity with 100 points of ID (this must be done
on a computer or laptop)
· Step 3 - create a QParents account using an email address
· Step 4 - add your child to the account using their student EQ ID
Once your child has been added, a request will be sent to us for final review
and approval. This process protects the security of your child’s student
information.
For a complete guided process for sign up please download and read the QParents
registration quick reference guide here (PDF, 2.76 MB).
